In the early days of Wade Connectors, Mr. Wade’s children and grandchildren would often spend time in the barn – the Company’s first location- helping to manufacture, assemble and package the product. The Company continued to grow and prosper until Mr. Wade’s death in 2005. In 2009 Mr. Wade’s granddaughter, Victoria Stephens, stepped in and took over the Company intending to build upon legacy established by Mr. Wade many years ago. In the fall of 2019 the current owners purchased the Company from Victoria Stephens. The Wade Connectors product line continues to be 100% made in the USA. Additionally, the Wade Connectors product line is assembled and packaged today by residents of the Assisted Living State School in San Antonio, Texas. This is a tradition started many years ago and it is important to the Company that it continue. All parties to this arrangement benefit by keeping it in place- the Company gets quality work at a competitive price and the State School residents have work that they are proud to do.
